All bookings - Entry 4pm, Exit 10.30am (except sundays when 12 midday). All bookings incurr a refundable £250 security bond.

Deposits and balance payments should be paid by our secure online payment system at www.wharfedalelodge.com using credit or debit card. Bank transfer’s can be accepted or where a bank transfer is not available cheques may be accepted, please ask for details.
All deposits are non-refundable and the final balance and tidy-up-bond payment must be received 6 weeks prior to your visit. This balance payment is also non-refundable, unless we are at fault. You should consider your own insurance to cover any eventuality inc cancellation of booking.
Damages – A refundable £250 security bond will be added to all bookings. Any and all breakages/damage to our property and its contents other than wear and tear will be charged for, initially taken from your security bond. Any amounts greater this will be taken directly from your original payment method. The owners reserve the right to determine the value of any breakages/damage caused by the Hirer, and also to levy excess charge at the rate of £35 per hour for all time spent resolving damages.
Booking/Lodge exit policy – A charge at the rate of £35 per hour, or part thereof will be taken from your security bond, if the property is not vacated in accordance with the following times according to booking terms :- The Lodge and car-park should be fully vacated by 10.30am (12.00pm midday Sunday departures only)
All arrival times are STRICTLY 4.00pm unless otherwise agreed in writing. Hire of the Lodge is entirely at your own risk to you and your group members. We strictly DO NOT accept any responsibility for injuries to guests, or any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property whilst you are on the premises. All guests are responsible for their own actions and consequences whilst on the premises without exception.
The Lodge has a CCTV recording system installed externally and internal communal areas only for safety and insurance reasons.
We do not accept Party/Stag or Hen groups without written agreement in advance or young persons groups under 25 yrs without adult supervision. We reserve the right to increase the bond prior to arrival for such groups. Any such group found on site without advance agreement will be asked to leave.
Maximum number of persons present on the premises at any time must be no more than 20, this includes any visiting guests in the grounds.
No pets are allowed without prior agreement and if are found to be on-site without permission will be charged £35 per animal per stay deducted from your bond.
The Lodge is :- STRICTLY NO SMOKING without exception and NO CANDLES allowed inside the Lodge at any time, and no fires in the grounds – this is a STRICT condition of our insurance.
We DO NOT provide any electric vehicle charging facilities. Your booking is strictly for the use of the accomodation only and domestic electricity for general internal use is provided to facilitate that use only. Your booking DOES NOT include the right to charge your vehicle from our electricity supply, either from a dedicated charge supply or from a standard 3 pin socket. Any vehicle found to be charging whilst at the Lodge or the View will be charged at a minimum of £35 per vehicle per day without exception.
Tents/campers in the grounds are not allowed at any point, and if found will be asked to leave.
The following schedule should be done before you leave and are part of your agreed hire terms & conditions. Remove sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers from those beds that have been slept in. Place in the main entrance for collection.
Your bond will be returned to you shortly after your visit if the above schedule in it’s entirety has been carried out. Failure to do so will result in deductions in your bond refund. By all parties adhering to these terms allows us to keep the cost of hire low. The security bond is not a cleaning charge, nor does it replace your obligations to tidy the lodge after your visit. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE EXTRA CHARGES FOR ANY BREAKAGES/ DAMAGE OTHER THAN WEAR AND TEAR WHILST THE LODGE IS WITHIN YOUR HIRE PERIOD.
